Book A Trek
When booking please include your full name, your preferred trekking date, how many people you are booking for, their respective abilities and weight and your contact details.
If you're not sure what your riding ability is, have a look at this rough guide:
Beginner: Little or no previous experience. Treks will generally involve walking and a little trot if you want.
Intermediate: Some previous experience. Comfortable and stable riding in walk and trot.
Advanced: Lots of previous experience. Comfortable and stable riding in walk, trot and canter. Trek may involve longer canters.
Telling us your ability is important as it enables us to choose a suitable pony for you to ride, to make sure you have a fun and enjoyable trek!
Our ponies vary in size and strength so to ensure we match you with a suitable pony we ask you provide each trekker's weight.
Please be aware we have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you book a trek and you cancel within 48 hours of your trek we will have to charge you the full amount as we won't be able to replace you in time.
Please remember that in the Pentlands, the walk from the car park to the ponies takes ten to fifteen minutes, while the walk from the bus stops takes up to half an hour. You must ensure you factor this in to your travel plans, as if you are more than 20 minutes late your trek may be forced to leave without you and you will still be charged.
If you would like to ask a question or leave a comment about your trekking experiences or about the section in general, you can email us or contact us here.
